SO WHAT EXACTLY IS THE COLOSSAL ONION?
It's a beautiful thing. A crispy, golden finger food meant for sharing.
Based out of Kitchener, Ontario, The Colossal Onion rolls across Canada serving our signature onion at major special events across the country. From hungry cowboys at the Calgary Stampede to Toronto’s toughest food critics at the Canadian Nation Exhibition, The Colossal Onion is a fan favourite and a midway staple.
For us, getting messy is part of the fun. It's not an operation for the faint of heart and we've developed a proven system that works. With close attention to each Colossal Onion we guarantee a beautifully delicious masterpiece, every time!
It's really as easy as 1, 2, 3...
First, each onion is precisely prepped and sliced...
Then hand-battered and deep-fried in 100 per cent canola oil.
And finally, we serve 'em up hot and fresh with a chipotle mayo dipping sauce (and of course, a few napkins).

Each of our units is designed with three things in mind: premium service, efficient operations, and colossal style. Our fleet includes our full size custom trailers as well as our custom food truck.
